Job Summary

The QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality by designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify bugs early in the development cycle, execute automated test suites, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. This role is crucial in accelerating the software development lifecycle and enhancing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
• Build and execute automated test suites for web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps to ensure product quality.
• Identify bugs early in the development cycle and provide detailed reports with reproducible steps.
• Monitor and analyze test results, debug failures, and work with the team to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Drive shift-left testing practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, SQL, and performance testing basics.
• Experience working in Tier 1 product companies or high-scale B2C/E-commerce environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think critically and debug complex issues.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile automation testing (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of security and performance testing frameworks.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and the associated testing challenges.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in automation testing is required.
