We are seeking a driven, technical, and commercially savvy Business Development Manager to accelerate the adoption of our proprietary quantum computing systems. Based in California, you will bridge the gap between complex quantum hardware/software and practical applications in industries such as finance, pharmaceuticals, energy, and logistics. - Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve annual booking targets for QpiAI Quantum computing, QCaaS (Quantum Compute as a Service), QpiAI Pharma, QpiAI Opt, and QpiAI Matter sales.
- Technical Sales & Demos: Articulate complex quantum concepts into clear business value propositions (ROI) and lead technical solution presentations and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers (C-suite, R&D directors, IT leaders) and build ecosystem partnerships (cloud providers, research institutions).
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscapes (e.g., superconducting vs. trapped-ion qubit approaches) and provide actionable feedback to internal engineering teams to refine product roadmaps.
- Proposal Management: Lead contract negotiations, tenders, and high-quality technical proposals in collaboration with legal and engineering departments.
Qualifications

- Network: Proven track record of managing long, complex sales cycles in California’s tech ecosystem.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and networking skills, with the ability to bridge technical personnel and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in quantum software development kits.
- Background in High-Performance Computing (HPC) or AI/ML infrastructure.
- Existing relationships with Fortune 500 companies in California specializing in life sciences, energy, or aerospace.
Experience
