Job Description
Scrabble has been mandated to hire a Scheduling & Procurement Head for a leading EV Automotive company based in Delhi.
Major responsibilities include:
Supplier relationship management
Scientific Scheduling & Procurement of parts from supplier as per Annual plan
Monitoring supplier performance & related dashboards
Hands on experience on SAP, Introduction of scheduling with MRP runs.
Inventory management
Introduction of concepts like JIT, JIS etc for optimizing the inventory & space
requirement
Supplier Grievance resolution by taking support from internal teams
Inputs to back end team for upcoming projects i.e. performance of existing supplier
Inputs for GM & MM projects i.e. related to cost optimization
Transportation cost optimization
Obsolescence avoidance by keen involvement in Engineering change management
Audits for ensuring right packaging & transportation is followed. Supplier end & Dock
audits
Capacity utilization considering seasonal variations
Monitoring internal customer satisfaction
Complexity management considering different model mix
Risk mitigation considering different operational challenges
Work on contingency plans for critical sources
Lean management
Support new model introduction along with the regular running models
Requirement is from industry with high complexity, so that person understands the
criticality & as we add different models in our journey the necessary actions are anticipated
& implemented in advance
Communication skills should be good as the interaction will be with wide variety of suppliers
