Job Summary
The Growth Product Manager will shape the growth strategy for the organization by defining a multi-horizon roadmap aimed at balancing short-term wins with foundational systems. This role will drive significant impact by influencing millions of users and facilitating tens of millions in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). The position is critical in building a culture of experimentation and partnering with leadership across the organization to align priorities and resources.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the user conversion and post-booking experience charter across web and app platforms.
- Present a coherent growth strategy that aligns with company-level goals and communicates effectively to leadership.
- Lead a team of Product Managers (PMs), setting direction and coaching them on best practices while removing obstacles to high performance.
- Build a rigorous experimentation program, including prioritization frameworks and test velocity targets, fostering a culture of learning from failure.
- Drive alignment on growth priorities and resource allocation across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing teams.
- Identify and leverage compounding growth levers such as flywheel effects and structural improvements, alongside immediate tactical wins.
- Define team performance metrics including OKRs, experiment velocity, and impact metrics across the user funnel.
- Represent the growth and customer experience charter in key cross-functional planning cycles, including annual and quarterly roadmap reviews.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of target users with the ability to translate insights into impactful features.
- Strong product sense and clarity on what constitutes a great product, along with the path to achieve it.
- Proficient at breaking down complex problems, making trade-offs, and prioritizing based on user and business impact.
- Excellent structured communication skills for writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and aligning multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable coaching product managers and facilitating alignment across teams and functions.
- Proven experience operating at Lead, Staff, Principal, or Growth Product Manager levels in consumer technology, marketplaces, e-commerce, or travel sectors.
- Track record of owning growth outcomes such as discovery, conversion, and retention.
Preferred Skills
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to consider both long-term and operational strategic horizons.
- Expertise in experimentation beyond simple A/B tests, including the ability to build systems for experimentation and foster a related culture.
- Excellent analytical abilities, particularly in funnel and cohort analysis, utilizing data to find opportunities and measure impacts.
- Experience in influencing stakeholders without formal authority, aligning teams in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing clear strategy documents and narratives for leadership.
- Prior experience in hiring, onboarding, and developing PM talent is a plus.
