Job Summary

The MT Lead will be responsible for overseeing the Modern Trade business across India in the personal care sectors. This role requires a strategic leader with proven experience in managing national accounts and driving business growth across key retail partners within the Indian market.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Modern Trade business across India, focusing on key national accounts.
• Develop and execute annual business plans (Joint Business Plans) to drive commercial success.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and strategies to optimize trade marketing efforts.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships directly with the head offices of major retailers including Apollo Pharmacy, DMart, Reliance Retail, Wellness Forever, Spencer's, Star Bazaar, and More Retail.
• Take ownership of the overall Modern Trade Profit and Loss (P&L) and ensure alignment with company targets.
• Mentor and lead a team to enhance sales, distribution, and profitability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in national account management, particularly within modern trade.
• Strong expertise in commercial negotiations and trade marketing strategies.
• Hands-on experience managing relationships with head offices of significant national retailers.
• Leadership experience with the ability to drive team performance and achieve business objectives.
• Background in personal care and beauty industries with experience in managing high-volume business segments.
• A demonstrated track record of business planning and execution.

Experience
