Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring robust system integration and continuous process improvements. The position involves hands-on configuration, customization, training, support, and comprehensive project management to deliver successful implementations that enhance warehouse and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Oracle WMS solutions to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop and configure modules including inventory management, order management, shipping, and receiving.

• Client Engagement:

  • Engage with clients to understand their warehouse management processes, pain points, and objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices, create functional specifications, and assist with requirement definition and testing strategies.

• System Integration:

  • Integrate Oracle WMS with other Oracle applications (such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud SCM) and third-party systems (e.g., transportation management systems, robotics).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and system operations.

• Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure key Oracle WMS features, such as location management, picking strategies, RF devices, inventory accuracy, and cycle counting processes.
  • Implement customizations and extensions tailored to client-specific needs while maintaining system stability and scalability.

• Training and Support:

  • Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer to clients regarding Oracle WMS functionalities and industry best practices.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and participate in system testing and go-live activities.

• Project Management and Documentation:

  • Manage multiple implementation projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, functional specifications, test cases, and user manuals.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle WMS consulting with a proven track record of successful implementations.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle Supply Chain modules (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Fusion).

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Oracle WMS setup, configuration, and customization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle SCM Cloud, or Oracle Fusion and their integrations.
  • Experience in using SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, reporting, and system customizations.
  • Familiarity with RF (Radio Frequency) systems, barcode scanning, and mobile device integration within Oracle WMS.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Oracle Certifications in WMS and Supply Chain Management are a plus.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, functional teams, and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
  • Effective management of multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle WMS Cloud.
• Knowledge of related Oracle solutions such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Transportation Management, and Oracle Inventory.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience in process re-engineering and continuous process improvement projects.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Oracle WMS consulting experience, with hands-on expertise in both implementation and optimization projects.
