Software Engineer - Frontend

Job Summary

As a Fulltime Software Engineer - Frontend on the platform team, you will be instrumental in building an intuitive and responsive product. Your efforts will assist thousands of customers in monitoring the health and performance of their systems at any scale. Utilizing tools like React and Tailwind, you will streamline data flow from the platform to the users, facilitating smooth transitions between views while building a powerful, user-friendly platform. You will tackle complex frontend challenges for a vast user base, handling significant data sets and engaging with exciting scalability and performance tasks. Your role will allow you to have a direct impact on the product and the development community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to inform, refine, and validate design concepts.
• Utilize libraries such as Tailwind, Material-UI (MUI), TypeScript, and Axios to create solutions.
• Design and deliver features that directly impact thousands of users.
• Experiment with and advocate for new systems, design patterns, and tooling.
• Take ownership of significant components of the service, improving performance and addressing scalability limits.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that values diverse talent, product excellence, and exciting engineering challenges at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Full-time availability and comfort working from the office six days a week.
• Passion for designing and engineering high-experience, competitive user interfaces.
• Proficient in React and Tailwind, with awareness of the latest frontend technology trends.
• Capability to use design patterns to create simple, reusable components for complex user interfaces.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, profiling, and optimization.
• Strong emphasis on code simplicity, performance, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other frontend technologies and libraries is a plus.
• Understanding of modern development practices and methodologies.
