Transportation Representative

Job Summary

The Transportation Representative serves as the primary interface between Amazon and seller Points of Contact (POCs). This role is essential in identifying shipment concerns, saving freight costs, addressing appointment-related queries, and providing suggestions for process improvements. The representative is expected to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring efficient service to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate in a clear and professional manner at all times.
• Provide and expedite prompt and efficient service to Amazon customers and stakeholders.
• Manage sensitive cases by reporting through the escalation matrix.
• Demonstrate excellent time-management skills.
• Maintain or exceed targeted performance metrics.
• Actively seek solutions through logical reasoning and identify trends to suggest process improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any specialization from a recognized university.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Hindi language.
• Ability to communicate correctly and clearly with all customers.
• Good comprehension skills – ability to clearly understand and state the issues presented by customers.
• Ability to concentrate and follow stakeholder issues without distraction to resolution.
• Work successfully in a team environment as well as independently.
• Familiarity with Windows XP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Demonstrates an ability to successfully navigate websites.
• Demonstrates a proficient knowledge of email applications.

Preferred Skills

• Logistics background and experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Experience

• Previous experience in a transportation or logistics-related role is preferred.

Environment

• The position allows candidates to be based out of any of the following states in India: Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Punjab.
• This role operates under a contract basis for 6 months with rotational shifts and the option to work from home.
