Job Summary

The QA Automation role is designed for an experienced professional who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing. This position requires a strong background in both manual and automated testing, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality of software applications.
• Conduct manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive quality assurance.
• Perform SQL queries to manage test data and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify, debug, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
• Utilize tools such as Postman for API testing and ensure UI testing meets specified requirements.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of proven experience as an automation tester.
• Strong grasp of testing concepts and strategies, including the defect life cycle.
• Proficiency in SQL for data management and issue debugging.
• Basic knowledge of Linux for issue troubleshooting and debugging.
• Expertise in the Java programming language for automation testing.
• Ability to write, execute, and debug automation scripts in Java.
• Knowledge of API testing/UI testing and familiarity with tools like Postman is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Environment
