MS Defender Engineer

Job Summary

The role focuses on the management and deployment of various security tools within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), or Payment industries. The ideal candidate will ensure robust security measures, enhance user access protocols, and provide technical support as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MS Defender for Endpoints (EDR/ATP), ensuring comprehensive endpoint protection.
• Oversee integration and management of Active Directory for user account and access protocols.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for device management and enforce security policies.
• Implement and manage Trend Micro and other anti-virus solutions to safeguard company systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security tools and network services.
• Develop and enforce data protection and user access management policies within the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in MS Defender for Endpoints (EDR/ATP), Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Trend Micro.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the mentioned security tools, with at least 5 years dedicated to tool deployments within the BFSI/NBFC/Payment sectors.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot security systems effectively.
• Solid understanding of network security protocols and practices.
• Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Experience

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in security tools within the specified industries, with a strong focus on deployment and management.
