Job Summary

As a Founding Engineer (Product), you will be instrumental in shaping and building the core product features of our startup. You will work closely with the technical founder and leadership team to design, develop, and iterate on the product using modern technologies such as GraphQL, Hasura, and Postgres. Your deep product sense, early-stage engineering experience, and entrepreneurial mindset will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core product features using GraphQL, Hasura, and Postgres.
• Collaborate directly with founders to define product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive full-stack development efforts, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Prototype and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment with no dedicated product managers.
• Wear many hats by taking ownership of end-to-end product development, from design to deployment.
• Ensure technical excellence and product quality, aligning with customer-first principles.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise & Experience

• Proven experience as a technical founder or early-stage engineer with a strong product sense.
• Hands-on proficiency with GraphQL, Hasura, and Postgres.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to tackling challenges.

Soft Skills

• Strong drive and a hunger to succeed.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with co-founders and team members.
• Ability to adapt quickly and take ownership of multiple roles.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as a technical founder or in a high-growth startup environment.
• Familiarity with additional full-stack development technologies and modern development practices.
• Experience working without traditional product management structures.

Proven experience as a technical founder or early-stage engineer. Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus.
