Job Summary
The QA-Playwright role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts using Playwright and other tools, contributing to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create corresponding test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks.
- Provide regular reports on testing progress and results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Java Programming and Playwright.
- Proficiency in Cypress Automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Playwright for automation testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior experience in performance and load testing.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
Environment
- Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Coimbatore
- Work Setting: Full-Time, in-office
Salary
- Estimated salary range: 2 - 9 LPA
Start Date
- Expected to start within 15 days of offer acceptance.
