Tuning is seeking a qualified Delphi Developer to join their team in a remote capacity.

Job Summary

The Delphi Developer will be responsible for developing high-quality applications using Delphi and Pascal. The role contributes to the organization's goals by enhancing the functionality, performance, and reliability of software solutions, particularly within financial and tax software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Delphi and Pascal programming languages.
• Implement debugging, profiling, and performance tuning practices for Pascal applications.
• Collaborate with team members on version control workflows, CI/CD processes, and testing best practices.
• Ensure code quality through thorough documentation and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Engage in the modernization of legacy codebases and support the integration of new features and functionalities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Pascal or Delphi development.
• Strong understanding of procedural programming paradigms, type systems, and BEGIN…END structured blocks.
• Proven debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills in Pascal applications.
• Solid grasp of Git, version control workflows, CI/CD processes, and testing best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Form Calculation Language (FCL) or Intuit’s Tax Programming System (TPS).
• Background in TurboTax workflows or other financial/tax software systems.
• Familiarity with domain-specific DSLs or experience in modernizing legacy codebases.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, cloud environments (AWS, GCP), or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Delphi or Pascal development required.
