Job Summary

The Retail HR role is crucial for supporting the company’s ambitious growth strategy, which aims to scale from 91 coco stores to 200 stores within two years. This position is responsible for building HR teams from the ground up and establishing foundational policies to ensure compliance and support organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies to support the rapid expansion of store locations.
• Build and lead HR teams for new stores, ensuring alignment with company culture and objectives.
• Create and establish HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and organizational goals.
• Engage in difficult conversations with leadership when compliance issues arise, demonstrating strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Collaborate with management to understand HR needs and provide tailored solutions that foster a productive work environment.
• Monitor HR metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance team performance and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-12 years of relevant experience in retail human resources or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of HR compliance and labor laws.
• Proven experience in team building and implementation of HR policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with leadership and staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proficiency in HR software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
• Experience in a rapidly scaling retail environment.
• Familiarity with performance management systems and employee engagement strategies.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and workforce planning.

• 5-12 years of experience in a retail HR or related position, with a strong focus on compliance and operational development.

• Candidates must be adaptable to a dynamic work environment aiming for quick scalability and changes.

Salary

• Budgeted salary range of ₹35,00,000 - ₹40,00,000 per annum.
