Manager Infrastructure Services

Job Summary

The Manager Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing the cloud computing strategy of the organization. This role ensures that the cloud infrastructure aligns with the organization’s business and technical requirements, combining both technical and strategic responsibilities vital for cloud-based environments. The candidate must be hands-on with all required technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designing Cloud Solutions: Develop cloud architecture solutions to meet business objectives, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud Strategy and Planning: Define the cloud strategy and roadmap, identifying risks, opportunities, and cloud migration strategies while guiding teams through cloud adoption and transformation processes.
• Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS): Design and implement solutions utilizing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS based on requirements, managing integrations between on-premises systems and cloud services.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that the cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards, working with security teams to implement security best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, security, networking, and application teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations, while communicating technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Cost Management: Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to control costs and implement cloud cost management strategies and tools.
• Cloud Governance: Establish and enforce policies and governance frameworks for cloud usage, implementing monitoring and logging solutions to track cloud performance and issues.
• Stay Updated with Cloud Technologies: Keep abreast of new cloud technologies, services, and tools, recommending new cloud technologies to improve the business environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
• Technical Skills:
  • Thorough hands-on experience in Cloud IaaS and PaaS Services (Azure).
  • Experience in designing cloud architecture (High-Level Design and Low-Level Design).
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience in Cloud Managed Services, Cloud Security, and Networking aspects on Cloud.
  • Implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and automation.
  • Hybrid Cloud experience is a plus.
• Certifications:
  • Azure Administration certification (MUST).
  • Azure Solution Architect certification (AZ-104, AZ-305) (MUST).
  • Azure DevOps/Professional/Speciality Certification (a plus).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Automation & Scripting, Disaster Recovery/Backup, Data & Storage, Containers & Orchestration, API management, and Integration Services.
• Understanding of AI technologies (optional).

Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5-6 years as a Cloud Architect.

Environment

• Work Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Gurugram.
• Work Type: Full-time.
• Work Mode: Hybrid.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹4,000,000.
