About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, GST compliance, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about learning and eager to contribute to our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance:

Assist in daily financial data entry and maintain accurate financial records.

Ensure all transactions are properly documented and filed for easy retrieval.

Accounts Receivable:

Support the issuance of invoices to clients and monitor payment statuses.

Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies.

Accounts Payable:

Aid in processing vendor invoices and scheduling timely payments.

Coordinate with vendors to address invoice-related queries and maintain good relationships.

GST Compliance:

Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, ensuring adherence to relevant tax regulations.

Help reconcile GST input credits and maintain compliance documentation.

Financial Record Organization:

Organize and maintain financial documents in an orderly and timely manner.

Ensure all records are up-to-date and comply with company policies.

Monthly Closing & Reconciliations:

Support the finance team during month-end closing processes.

Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.

Ad-hoc Financial Tasks:

Participate in special financial projects and tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Provide support in various financial analyses and reporting activities.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
