Job Summary

We are searching for an experienced Civil 3D Modeler to join our team. This role focuses on infrastructure linear projects, requiring expertise in Civil 3D modeling along with a strong understanding of both dry and wet utilities. The chosen candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering and shop drawings while closely collaborating with the lead technical engineer to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Civil 3D models for infrastructure projects, emphasizing dry and wet utilities.
• Create and maintain content catalogues to support project requirements and standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings from models, including basic arrangements, layouts, profiles, and sections.
• Produce shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within the models using relevant software tools.
• Coordinate with the lead technical engineer and team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of all deliverables.
• Ensure all drawings and models meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Civil 3D modeling for infrastructure projects, especially in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in content catalogue creation and shop drawing preparation.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant software tools. Familiarity with clash detection tools such as Navisworks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of dry and wet utilities and their modeling requirements.
• Ability to prepare engineering drawings including layouts, profiles, and sections from models.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating with technical teams and managing project deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• A valid passport is advantageous due to potential travel needs to Dubai; however, it is not mandatory prior to onboarding.

Experience

• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Environment

The position is hybrid/remote, with a requirement for candidates to undergo 15-30 days of training at the Chennai office.

Salary

The estimated salary range is between 80,000 to 90,000 per month, with potential for increases on a case-by-case basis.
