Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate and support Agile teams in achieving their project goals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the Agile methodology is followed, helping teams to become self-organizing and cross-functional, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and provide solutions to enhance productivity.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and practices to foster a culture of collaboration and self-organization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
• Monitor and report on team progress and metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in team processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
• Team Management: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Tools: Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
• Knowledge of other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
• Background in software development or IT project management.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
