Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Head to lead end-to-end Quality Assurance and Food Safety functions across manufacturing units and sourcing ecosystems. This leadership role will be responsible for building robust quality systems, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, strengthening government and certification relationships, and driving quality excellence across factories and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Food Safety function across factories and field operations.
• Develop and implement quality systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process controls across manufacturing units.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and other applicable food safety and regulatory standards.
• Build and strengthen quality frameworks for categories such as dairy, atta, ketchup, and allied food products.
• Drive vendor quality management and raw material quality control across sourcing locations.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, and R&D teams to maintain product consistency and quality benchmarks.
• Lead audits, inspections, certifications, and compliance initiatives across facilities.
• Manage government relations and coordinate with regulatory bodies for approvals and compliance matters.
• Monitor key quality metrics, customer complaints, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and mentor QA teams across plants and field locations.
• Drive a strong culture of food safety, hygiene, and quality excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance within Food, Dairy, or Agri-processing industries.
• Strong understanding of food safety systems, quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing QA across multiple plants or large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on exposure to categories such as dairy, atta, spices, ketchup, or processed foods.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in handling government liaison and regulatory interactions preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Marathi proficiency preferred due to plant and field coordination requirements.
