Job Summary

The Gainsight Developer will be responsible for end-to-end solution design and delivery, transforming the requirements of the Customer Success (CS) team and Voice of Customer (VOC) team into actionable JIRA stories. This role includes refining those stories through stakeholder discussions and implementing tested solutions in Gainsight. The position contributes to strategic planning and innovation in customer success initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate Customer Success and VOC requirements into actionable JIRA stories and manage their implementation in Gainsight.
• Create enablement documentation and manage scorecards, success plans, and opportunity processes.
• Integrate usage data to drive health scores and Call to Action (CTAs), while customizing company structures and dashboards.
• Analyze churn data and explore unused Gainsight features to foster innovation through idea reviews and sprint allocations.
• Lead a small technical team, document architecture changes, fix production bugs, and ensure smooth execution of Customer Success initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support or engineering roles, preferably in Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Gainsight administration or support.
• Strong understanding of customer success processes and data models.
• Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and data integration tools such as Salesforce, Snowflake, and Segment.
• Familiarity with Gainsight features, including Rules Engine, Journey Orchestrator, and Reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• ITIL, Gainsight Admin Certification, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
