Data Analyst
Job Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets. This role supports the organization by providing actionable insights that inform business decisions, optimize processes, and identify trends. The Data Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and provide reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Interpret data trends and patterns to support strategic business decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Previous experience in a similar data analysis role.
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
Environment
