JD: Project Architect

The ideal candidate will oversee the entire project life cycle. They will manage personnel involved at different stages of the project and showcase strong design and technical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different stakeholders on the project such as consultants, contractors, vendors/ suppliers, to communicate intent and ensure the integrity of the project.
• Manage a project - anticipate the needs of the project and create schedules and tasks.
• Ensure that all details are in place to design detail before it is begun.
• Micro-level planning for architectural drawings and site execution.
• Preparing Design Detailing, handling tender-related correspondences, technical coordination with the consultants and site.
• Should have experience in onsite retail interior works.
• Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development and execution from an interior work perspective.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents related to interior works.
• Design and document commercial aspects of interior projects.
• Interaction with clients and consultants for project requirements and updates.
• Understanding of interior-related services (electrical, firefighting, HVAC, and plumbing) for coordination with design.
• Work with teams across business lines, in different locations, and coordinate with subcontractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience 2-4 years related experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, BIM
