ETL Informatica PowerCenter Developer

The ETL Informatica PowerCenter Developer will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter. This position is essential to ensure that data flows seamlessly from various sources into the data warehouse, supporting key business decisions and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data profiling and cleansing to improve data quality.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability while troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
• Conduct unit testing and assist in system testing to ensure the reliability of data integration processes.
• Document ETL processes, workflows, and data sources for future reference and audits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter with a strong background in ETL development.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts, particularly in PL/SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with data profiling tools and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud data integration tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a bonus.
• Certification in Informatica or related technologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration roles.
