Job Summary

The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development of web applications with a focus on Angular and Node. This role demands high programming skills and substantial experience in modern technologies, ensuring the team's output meets high-quality standards while staying abreast of new industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Perform code reviews and facilitate refactoring discussions with multiple domains and delivery teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct feasibility studies to ensure the product is up-to-date with the latest technologies.
• Engage in root cause analysis to debug complex issues by identifying the true root cause and proposing permanent fixes based on thorough analysis.
• Take initiative and assume responsibility for the technical solution.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technologies and stay updated on the latest industry technology trends and techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of IT experience with a strong programming background.
• 5+ years of experience in developing web applications with heavy usage of JavaScript.
• Expert proficiency in Frontend and Middleware design, development, and implementation with experience in Angular, Node Express, Angular Material, and related technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in various database management systems.
• Passionate about great technologies, especially open source.
• Strong understanding of UI frameworks/languages such as Angular.
• Solid coding skills with the ability to guide teams through massive refactoring exercises and improve coding standards across large codebases.
• Experience in developing cloud software services with an understanding of design aspects for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Experience with Angular Formly is a plus.
• Expertise in JavaScript/ES6, building responsive, high-performing web applications using JS frameworks and third-party libraries.
• Experience with a unit-test driven approach to development.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration deployments (CI/CD), testing, and operations.
• Experience in AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, Redis, and Elasticsearch is desirable (optional).
• Familiarity with Linux is a plus (optional).
