Job Summary
The International Sales / Key Account Manager is a senior, hands-on role responsible for managing and expanding key international customer accounts, driving repeat and incremental business, and fostering long-term relationships. The role also involves managing selected domestic accounts and contributing to overall business growth. The candidate will leverage extensive international sales experience to achieve revenue targets, develop new markets, and support the company's global expansion objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop a portfolio of key international accounts across relevant industries and geographies.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with procurement, sourcing, commercial, and business stakeholders.
- Drive repeat orders, annual contracts, replenishment, and incremental business from existing customers.
- Monitor customer product consumption and proactively follow up to accelerate order cycles.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within Arora Aromatics' product portfolio.
- Manage selected domestic accounts and contribute to domestic business growth.
- Develop new business through industry networks, customer references, exhibitions, market intelligence, and outbound activities.
- Lead customer meetings, negotiations, and business reviews to strengthen relationships and close deals.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Head/Promoter on account strategy, pricing, and key commercial decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as production, procurement, logistics, and finance for seamless order execution.
- Maintain account plans, sales pipeline visibility, and regular business updates.
- Travel internationally for customer meetings, trade shows, and relationship management.
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in B2B sales and/or Key Account Management.
- Strong exposure to international/export sales and global customer management.
- Proven track record of growing existing accounts and generating repeat business.
- Experience managing customers across multiple countries or international markets.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Hands-on experience with calls, emails, follow-ups, customer meetings, and order conversion.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical sales execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; additional certifications in sales or international trade are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently internationally.
