Job Summary
The Legal Manager will be responsible for managing and executing legal tasks for Homeville Group. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the affordable home loan sector and strong non-litigation experience specifically related to mortgages. The Legal Manager will provide essential legal support for navigating the legal complexities of property transactions and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal assistance to the Company in various capacities.
- Conduct due diligence on properties intended for mortgage.
- Review and provide opinions on Loan Sanction Reports (LSR) and Technical Sanction Reports (TSR).
- Conduct property searches and prepare search reports.
- Carry out legal due diligence on properties for the creation of mortgages (equitable or registered) throughout India.
- Prepare mortgage documentation and assist internal teams with legal queries, documentation, and stamp duty matters.
Qualifications
- Education: LLB from a reputed Law College.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant legal experience, particularly in non-litigation related to mortgages.
