About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Operations (Supply Chain) to oversee and streamline our procurement, supply chain, and operations functions across SWAH & HADO. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in FMCG & D2C/Ecom operations, with proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement, warehousing, vendor management, logistics, and supply chain efficiency. The candidate must be comfortable travelling to Wada, ensuring easy accessibility to our operations hub. Marathi speaking is a must.

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Warehouse & Ops Set-Up

  • Support in building the warehouse infra in terms of D2C Order Processing

2. Zoho Inventory

  • Must have working knowledge of Zoho Inventory.

3. Order Fulfillment & Dispatch

  • Manage daily order processing for D2C websites, marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), and Q-commerce partners (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart).
  • Manage warehouse teams for picking, packing, and timely dispatch.
  • Monitor same-day and next-day dispatch SLAs, especially for Q-commerce.

4. Logistics & Transportation

  • Schedule pickups and coordinate with logistics partners (Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees, Shadowfax, etc.).
  • Track shipments, handle escalations, and ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).
  • Optimise logistics cost through consolidation and route planning.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for transportation & LM.

5. Inventory Management

  • Ensure zero discrepancy/shrinkage/pilferage with strict SOP and system adherence
  • Oversee FIFO/FEFO compliance and smooth order processing.
  • Manage demand planning, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Ensure 100% OTIF.
  • Should be implementing JIT & 5S philosophies
  • Implement best practices in supply chain systems and ERP/SAP/WMS/Zoho Inventory tools.
  • Must be well aware of the Expiry, Near Expiry Expired & RTO stock movement within the warehouse
  • Manage inwarding, replenishments, and RTV (Return to Vendor) for quick-commerce dark stores.
  • Ensure correct cataloguing, packaging standards, and labelling as per partner guidelines.
  • Monitor platform performance dashboards for SLA compliance.

 

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily MIS for orders, shipments, costs, delays, cancellations, and returns.
  • Prepare weekly reports on logistics KPIs: OTD, RTO %, QC fill rates, inventory accuracy.

7. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to statutory and company compliance requirements.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning.

8.  Software Skills

  • Must be well versed with Excel

9. Soft Skills

  • Must be a go-getter and never say die attitude
  • We are looking for someone who doesn’t wait for the problem to get resolved on its own but someone who can roll up their sleeves and get the same resolved on ground
  • Must have good stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Must have customer first attitude

 

Candidate must be from FMCG background and must have handled large volumes in D2C & ECOM. This position reports to AVP Ops.
