Trustee Officer   About this role   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">This role will work closely with Boards of Directors of Trustee Company at Jio Blackrock. </li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Scope will include Mutual Funds Regulations and the Master Circular for Mutual Funds issued by SEBI, including the SEBI Act 1992 among other applicable statutes.</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Direct reporting to the Board of Trustees at JioBlackrock. Administrative reporting to the Head - Compliance, Secretarial and Legal at Jio Blackrock. You will work with all stakeholders at Jio BlackRock and as needed with those at Jio Financial Services and BlackRock globally.</li> </ul>     Key Responsibilities   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To assist the Trustee Board in discharging various rights and obligations of Trustees as prescribed under SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 and circulars issued thereunder, in coordination with the representatives of the Asset Management Company (AMC).</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To coordinate with the internal auditors / independent firms, wherever required for special purpose audit(s) and / or to seek legal advice, as per the requirements identified by the Trustee Board. </li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To provide confirmation(s) to the Trustees, wherever necessary and as per the requirements identified by the Trustee Board, in relation to various periodical reporting(s) / submission(s) from the AMC to the Trustee Board; </li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To assist the Trustees in providing clarification(s) on various queries raised by Trustees from time to time, in coordination with the AMC representatives.</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To provide required administrative support to the Trustees in monitoring various activities of the AMCs. </li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">To conduct periodical meeting(s) with the Trustee Board and ensure tracking of action points arising from such meetings in coordination with the AMC stakeholders, wherever required.</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Responsible to ensure compliance with requirements prescribed under Companies Act, 2013 including guidelines/notifications issued from time to time pertaining to the Trustee Company.</li> </ul>     Key Skills and Experiences    <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Compliance / CS Professional in Financial Services Industry (experience in mutual fund industry must).</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Good compliance background with experience of compliance in asset management. Additional experience in other areas of capital markets would be beneficial.</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">A strong grasp of compliance requirements pertaining to running asset management companies, mutual funds and other types of funds in India.</li> </ul>   <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">10+ years of experience managing the functions of a Trust or operations of a Mutual Fund/Trust. Experience in compliance function in mutual funds in India may also apply for this position.  </li> </ul>
