Job Summary

The Compliance Manager will lead the governance and compliance function within the organization, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal processes. This role is crucial for developing compliance programs and policies that enhance governance and regulatory adherence, contributing to the organization’s operational integrity and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the governance and compliance function, ensuring adherence to regulations from the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and other statutory requirements.
• Develop systems and processes to ensure compliance requirements are met and streamline business support functions.
• Act as a liaison between business functions and IFSCA authorities to facilitate regulatory approvals, policy clarifications, and compliance reporting.
• Prepare presentations advocating for amendments to tax laws and policies to create a favorable business environment.
• Independently manage internal and technology audits, identifying risks and ensuring timely correction of findings.
• Monitor regulatory updates and prepare Management Information Systems (MIS) on compliance and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) and a Bachelor of Commerce.
• Technical Skills: Mastery in compliance management, policy development, internal auditing, project management, and risk assessment.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Tools Proficiency: Well-versed in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Tally, and Confluence.
• Languages: Proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.

Experience

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in compliance advisory, internal audits, and risk management.
• Proven track record in developing compliance programs and policies for organizations.
