Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions. The role involves leveraging AWS technologies and ensuring efficient deployment and management of cloud infrastructure. This position is crucial to enhancing the organization's cloud capabilities and supporting its digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services to support business applications.
  • Build and manage Docker images and deploy applications using Docker Compose.
  • Run Kubernetes workloads on AWS EKS and manage Kubernetes Clusters.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins Core.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk Cloud.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience with AWS in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with UNIX operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Programming experience, with Python preferred.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with the agile software development lifecycle and Kanban methodologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing large AWS cross-account environments using IAM and federated SSO.
  • Expertise in crafting and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems through automation.
  • Experience with CDN Providers, such as Akamai.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins in a production setting.

  • Location: Bangalore
  • Work Type: Full-Time
  • Start Date: Within 15 days

Salary

  • Estimated Salary Range: ₹2,500,000 - ₹2,700,000 annually
