Sorrentina, the company's first brand, was launched earlier this year. Best known for its namesake restaurant in Mumbai, Sorrentina now offers a range of fresh and packaged food products and FMCG range available through multiple digital platforms, marketplaces, its own D2C platform sorrentina.in and leading modern trade and gourmet stores in India. Built as a digital-first brand, Sorrentina is led by a team with deep experience and expertise in gourmet food, digital content, and commerce. The company’s second brand, Soul Chef will deliver innovative, healthy, and flavorful range of pantry essentials and will be launched in the next financial year. A third brand offering a range of snacking and munching options is under conceptualization. Along with these brands, the company is also launching a chain of retail stores targeting young, gourmet food lovers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. Designed as an interactive space for food connoisseurs that offer epicurean treats for cooking, eating and entertaining, these stores will be filled with with better-made, new-to-market products and new-age brands. The store is being designed from the lens of a smartphone user and orders placed on digital platforms will be fulfilled through a same-day home delivery network. The stores will also be supported by a state-of-the-art commissary that are being set up in the three cities. JD - Sr Ecommerce Manager (Foods) We are looking for an experienced KAM. This person will look at profitability, channel spending, and Market share delivery. An ideal candidate is a prompt learner who is ready to make an immediate impact on revenue & profit growth at a fast-growing start-up. You will work with cross-functional teams like Brand, Operations, Finance & Marketing. What you’ll work on: ● Deliver on Sales plan, gross margin plan, inventory refills and overall P&L ● Responsible for developing the Sales targets with E-Commerce portals and making 360degree marketing plan to achieve the same on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket + onboarding new business developments - Nurturing and growing an account. ● Research and Identify potential market trends, monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for potential promotional opportunities. ● Monitor Sales figures and trend to analyses how online activity can be improved to increase revenue. ● Ensuring presence of complete product assortment, comprehensive product content (with Hi Res images, A+ Content and Videos), improved organic search ranking, benchmarking and improving performance against set KPI’s for Ecommerce channel. ● Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and profitability operations. ● Manage the user experience of the website including navigation, content, creative and promotional campaigns. ● Managing with Brand partners to ensure they deliver a demonstrable ROI Key Requirements: ● A minimum of 4 years of experience in any industry. ● Ecommerce experience working on Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Big Basket and other Marketplace and Long-tail channels is a MUST ● Owns Business P&L ● Ability to take internal and external stakeholders along ● Willingness to experiment and improve continuously ● Ability to adapt according to the business needs and perform accordingly.
