<div><b>Purpose of the role</b>: Help build Wheelocity as a great place to work.</div>

<div><b>Key Objectives:</b></div>

<div>1. <b>Help reinforce great work culture through employee engagement: </b></div>
<div>As the founding team of Wheelocity, we have laid out a clear culture code - a set of 8 core values and 5 "ways of life" that all Wheelocitians live by. While we have laid these out, I believe the success of this lies in embodying them and imbibing these values in the organization through various initiatives. </div>
<div>The HR-Head would be primarily expected to drive these values in the org through various employee engagement activities & SRS (Stories-Rituals-Symbols).</div>
<div>This is especially important given the fact that we have three types of teams (1) Product/Engineering teams based @ Bangalore (2) Strategy & Corproate: teams @ Chennai (3) Field team; and that the aspirations/expectations of these teams are widely varying.</div>

<div>2. <b>Build Wheelocity as a Talent Magnet for A-listers:</b></div>
<div>The problem we're solving would require us to build out an all-star team of self-starters at all levels. The HR Head would play a pivotal role in attracting great talent into Wheelocity, and this is a key expectation from this role. </div>

<div>3. <b> Build a robust Comp & Ben Strategy to retain talent:</b></div>
<div>Given the dynamics of the industry (SCM, Agri, tech) and the startup space in general, we will need to build a robust and scientific comp & ben strategy inline with evolving industry needs. This would include monetary & non-monetary aspects and we will need expert support on this.</div>

<div>4. <b>Provide leadership to the Ops-HR team:</b></div>
<div>We have a 6-member HR team already that takes care of the ops part of HR (salary/payroll, statutory, operational part of recruitment), as well as does a great job in field recruitment (this team basically help us ramp up to 250+ member field team in the past 12 months). While this team executes greatly, they will need leadership with respect to the direction, and will need a lot of guidance/handholding support as we grow.</div>

<div><b>Ideal candidate persona:</b></div>
<div>1. Two persona profiles possible:</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>A senior HR professional with 15+years of domain expertise. </li>
<li>Academically brilliant, with 7-9 years of experience with large growth aspirations.</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>2. At least 3 years of Startup experience is definitely needed (latest stint preferred)</div>
<div>3. Be willing to go through with the founding & leadership teams and push the team to embody our core values</div>
<div>4. A strong personality with a change management mindset. High level of maturity is hence needed.</div>
<div>5. Must be clear that they will step into an org with very diverse exepctations/requirements. </div>
