Job Summary

The Java Full Stack Developer/Java Backend Engineer plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining web applications using Java technologies. Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust web applications using J2EE and Spring Frameworks.
• Implement backend services and APIs, ensuring adherence to Microservice Architecture and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software.
• Manage database interactions utilizing relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy applications effectively.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications in production, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years in software development, specifically in Java full stack and backend engineering.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Hibernate/JPA, JUnit, JMS, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka for messaging services.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or equivalents.
  • Understanding of GIS concepts and ESRI technologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing applications with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.

Salary
