Product Manager - Platform

Company Overview

We are hiring a Product Manager for a cybersecurity SaaS startup.

Job Summary

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for building scalable platform capabilities that power multiple products, including APIs, cloud infrastructure, integrations, workflow engines, and shared services.

Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: Drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of product initiatives from ideation through delivery and iteration.
• Technical Leadership: Translate business requirements into clear, technically feasible product specifications, engaging deeply with engineering teams on architecture, APIs, and system design.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and compliance to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Customer Focus: Gather feedback from users, conduct market research, and analyze usage data to continuously improve product offerings.
• Execution: Prioritize features, define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and manage agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation (Product Requirement Documents, user stories, workflows) and communicate product status and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead agile product development processes, managing sprints, backlogs, and release cycles.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to design, build, and iterate on features across various domains, including Phishing Simulation, Risk Scoring, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Workflows, Threat Intelligence, Dark Web and Brand Monitoring, and upcoming Cloud & Email Security solutions.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a product management or technical product management role.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience working with APIs, cloud infrastructure, or Software as a Service (SaaS) products, with a solid understanding of software development life cycles, architecture, and Agile methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to utilize data for decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., CrowdStrike CCFA, Palo Alto, Fortinet NSE) are a plus.
• Experience within Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP), cyber security, or consulting environments is highly preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product management or technical product management, with a focus on cybersecurity solutions.
