BUYING & SOURCING<br /> <br />

• A minimum of 12 - 15 years in either diamond or diamond jewellery buying and sourcing.<br />
• Work with any large diamond jewellery manufacturer (domestic / export) and at least a couple of years with organised retail - such as caratlane of bluestone<br />
• Needs to be familiar with an inventory ERP<br />
• Could be based in Mumbai but would need to temporarily be based in Bangalore for 1 - 2 months and be open to travel as required<br />
• Exposure to merchandising would be preferred<br />
• Comp 28 - 30 lacs<br /> <br />

<br /> Responsibilities<br /> <br /> * To lead buying and sourcing of diamonds / diamond jewellery<br /> * To identify new vendors<br /> * To negotiate and manage best buying practices<br /> * Vendor management<br /> * Demand forecast basis growth and expansion plans<br /> * Overseeing QC and merchandising functions
