Key Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a
leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced, scaling SaaS or healthcare tech
company.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and growing data
engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in data engineering technologies such as
SQL, Python, ETL frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or
Azure), and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience working with healthcare data, including
knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR), and
interoperability challenges.
Big Data and Scalability: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing
scalable data pipelines for large datasets, including real-time data processing and
batch processing.
Cloud and Distributed Systems: Experience with cloud-native data engineering
solutions and distributed systems, leveraging cloud storage, databases, and
processing frameworks.
Data Modeling & Warehousing: Expertise in building and optimizing data models and
warehousing solutions that support analytical, operational, and business intelligence
needs.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
tackle complex, large-scale data challenges in a fast-growing environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
ability to translate technical concepts into clear and actionable business insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning pipelines, or AI-driven
healthcare applications.
Knowledge of healthcare-specific databases and clinical data standards.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced, iterative
