Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to collect, process, and transform large datasets into reliable, high-quality data for analytics and business decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, databases, and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on performance, reliability, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert on operational analytics solutions for networks, applications, and security workflows.
• Take a hands-on role in integrating products to meet customer requirements.
• Deploy solutions at customer sites, understanding their data, workflow, and analytics requirements.
• Ensure customers are adequately enabled for use, facilitating understanding and self-service extensions of capabilities.
• Collaborate with the sales team and partners for pre-sales activities to ensure successful engagements.
• Own the design, development, and execution plans for Proof of Concept (POC) projects, leading deployment to completion.
• Improve product features and quality by proposing enhancements and conducting customer reviews.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in coding with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Experience in database technologies.
  • 3+ years of relevant hands-on coding experience.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation Templates, and YAML.
  • Experience designing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data using Jupyter Notebook.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with data analytics concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data analysis frameworks or tools would be a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant hands-on coding experience.
