Our mission is to benefit every stakeholder from shippers to end customers through trust, transparency, and collaboration. We offer two main solutions: a Cloud-based Transportation Management Software (TMS) and a Carrier Matching marketplace for Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and carriers. Our platform processes approximately 4% of India's total freight, serving a vast network of over 400 shippers and 1500+ LSPs.
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager (FP&A) will be responsible for supporting business finance, financial planning and analysis, and investor reporting functions. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and delivering actionable financial insights to aid decision-making. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to track performance, support planning cycles, and ensure accurate reporting for management and investors.
Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Track actual versus budgeted expenses and revenue, providing timely insights to management.
- Identify areas for cost optimization within financial planning activities.
- Update financial models to reflect latest actuals and projections.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and business cases as required.

Investor Relations
- Compile, validate, and distribute monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow summaries.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness to facilitate timely reporting to the Board of Directors and investors.

Month-End Closures
- Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely completion of accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Validate that all closing activities are completed within the prescribed closing window for review-ready financials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal, sales, and product teams to gather inputs early in the planning cycle.
- Facilitate planning meetings and checkpoints to ensure stakeholder timelines are met.

Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce turnaround time.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the close cycle to drive ongoing efficiency improvements.

Ad Hoc Analysis & Special Projects
- Provide support for management through ad hoc analysis with quick turnaround.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as business cases and scenario planning with clear deliverables and milestone tracking.
Qualifications

Educational Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-2 years of experience, ideally with article-ship in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, or Risk Advisory from Big 4 firms.
- Candidates with CA Internship experience in Taxation (GST) and two years of FP&A experience will also be considered.

Technical Skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting tools like Zoho, QuickBooks, or Tally.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, particularly for preparing critical reports for investors and the Board.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; high energy and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial modeling or forecasting.
- Familiarity with the logistics or transportation industry.
Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Experience with statutory audit or internal audit roles at a leading firm, preferably within the Big Four.
