Role Overview

We are hiring a Head of Sales – Maharashtra who will act as both a commercial leader and a systems builder.

The role involves building strong sales processes, leveraging an established distribution network (Mansha Group), and driving execution across Maharashtra.

You will own end-to-end commercial performance including distribution, visibility, volume, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Distribution & Market Development

    Work closely with Mansha Group to maximise distribution network across Maharashtra Develop coverage strategy for Mumbai, Pune, and Tier-2 cities Identify and onboard key accounts (restaurants, bars, hotels, retail outlets) Own sales targets: volume, revenue, and distribution

  2. On-Trade & Off-Trade Execution

    Drive product listings and menu placements Negotiate visibility, pouring rights, and partnerships Ensure strong retail presence (shelf placement & in-store branding) Monitor sell-in vs sell-through

  3. Key Account Management

    Build relationships with F&B heads, bar managers, and buyers Conduct tastings and training sessions Collaborate with brand team for activations

  4. Trade Marketing & Brand Collaboration

    Align sales initiatives with campaigns and events Drive bartender collaborations and brand activations Share market insights (competition, pricing, trends)

  5. Commercial Systems & Infrastructure

    Build sales systems from scratch (CRM, dashboards, tracking) Create SOPs for onboarding, activation, and sales cycles Develop scalable playbooks for expansion Establish reporting structure between teams

  6. Team Management & Reporting

    Build and lead a high-performing sales team Track KPIs: revenue, accounts, distribution metrics Report directly to CEO with data-driven insights

Requirements

6–10 years experience in alcohol/beverage sales (premium segment preferred)
Experience building sales processes (not just managing existing systems)
Strong knowledge of Maharashtra market (on-trade & off-trade)
Experience working with distributors
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Comfortable in fast-paced, startup environment
Passion for food, beverage, and lifestyle industry
