What we do:
We are building one of India’s first venture studio, aiming to disrupt how startups are created and funded. We go beyond thesis-building and funding early-stage companies, to prototype and incubate startups in-house. We are sector agnostic but go after meaningful, hard-to-solve problems. We are driven by radical impact, not just incremental improvements - we believe this would come from ideas that truly scale to the next billion, or build frontier technologies in India.
Our investors and mentors include some of the most successful entrepreneurs and operators in the Indian ecosystem. We are building a multi-expertise team, across investors, products, technologists, designers, and strategists to bring the studio to life.
What you would do:
- Find investment opportunities: You would speak to founders, run due diligence and drive the investment process in promising companies.
- Generate and validate customer insights: You will have to get your hands dirty, gathering customer insights and driving on-ground visits to be able to validate the investment thesis
- Incubating new ideas: You would explore and tinker with new ideas, internally or with future entrepreneurs who don’t have a specific idea yet, and go through the 0-to-1 journey of building companies (surely, with some failed attempts!).
Also, we are a start-up ourselves. From our strategy and branding to rituals and internal team building, there is a lot to be done on our journey to become a leading incubator of great companies.
What we are looking for:
Years of Experience: 1-3 Years in investment, equity or customer research
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills: We are agnostic to brands and positions, as long as you are passionate about and have worked on solving challenging problems.
- Growth mindset: You have a deep curiosity to learn about diverse topics. You enjoy getting to solve new problems and testing new ideas. You constantly try to upskill yourself, seek feedback, and pick up learning goals proactively.
- Self-drive: We are a self-managed team; we co-create our OKRs rather than being ‘managed’ traditionally. You enjoy ownership and driving ambiguous projects forward. You work for passion, not deadlines.
We might not be the right match, if:
- You thrive in structure - you value clear scope of work and deliverables, predictability, and top-down management.
- You enjoy strategy but not execution - you don’t want to pick up the operational work of speaking with customers, finding and onboarding suppliers, writing ad copies, and building MVPs.
