We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals in the Performing Credit space who can be part of our Investment Team at Neo Asset Management. This role requires a proven track record of analysing diverse investment opportunities and successfully closing deals in the private credit sector. We are looking at candidates who can demonstrate a deep understanding of market nuances, regulatory frameworks, and risk management strategies specific to the private credit landscape.<br /> Job Responsibilities:<br /> 1.<br /> Credit Opportunity Analysis:<br /> a.<br /> Conduct thorough analysis of credit opportunities across the private credit landscape, considering nuanced market dynamics and regulatory requirements.<br /> b.<br /> Assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers, evaluating financial statements, industry trends, and risk factors while accounting for sector-specific intricacies.<br /> 2.<br /> Deal Pursuit and Structuring:<br /> a.<br /> Identify and pursue attractive investment opportunities aligned with the fund's investment strategy, considering the unique characteristics of private credit transactions.<br /> b.<br /> Develop detailed financial models tailored to the complexities of private credit investments, incorporating nuanced factors such as covenant structures and collateral arrangements.<br /> 3.<br /> Documentation and Presentation:<br /> a.<br /> Prepare comprehensive credit memos and investment proposals for review by senior management and investment committees, articulating the unique aspects of each opportunity and proposing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.<br /> 4.<br /> Risk Monitoring and Adaptation:<br /> a.<br /> Monitor portfolio performance and assess credit risks, leveraging specialized tools and methodologies to address the idiosyncrasies of private credit instruments.<br /> b.<br /> Stay abreast of market nuances, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting the private credit sector, proactively adapting investment strategies and risk management practices accordingly.<br /> Academic Qualification and Experience:<br /> •<br /> A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, debt investment, and private credit within a fund or buy-side environment, with a demonstrated understanding of sector-specific nuances.<br /> •<br /> Qualification - MBA, CA (Rankers preferred)<br /> •<br /> Credit Expertise: Strong understanding of credit instruments, debt structures and financial markets, with the ability to navigate complex deal structures alongside robust regulatory frameworks.<br /> This is an exceptional opportunity for all Talent out there in the Private Credit space to join the Neo Asset Management - Investment Team and contribute to our continued success.
