Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our PuTC Production team in Pune. This role involves developing applications using Python and Angular, addressing both application and data-related challenges. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver periodic updates through presentations and prototype demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Python and Angular for scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Engage extensively with Cognite to handle large-scale data sets.
• Collaborate across various teams to formulate solutions to technical challenges.
• Present updates and prototypes to stakeholders and project managers.
• Design, develop, and deploy microservices architectures.
• Implement DevOps practices and automate deployment and operations through CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in backend development, particularly with Python or Java.
  • Strong hands-on experience in developing modern web applications using Angular.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for automation.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data integration platforms like Dataiku or industrial data platforms like Cognite would be a bonus.
• Strong interest and capability in designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with debugging and optimizing code.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 5-8 years in software engineering with a focus on both frontend and backend development.

Environment

• This role is based in Pune, with an emphasis on in-person collaboration.

Salary

• Salary range is set according to experience:
  • 3-5 Years of Experience: 150K INR/month
  • 5-7 Years of Experience: 200K INR/month
  • 7-10 Years of Experience: 220K INR/month
