The focus is on establishing a global presence for its signature product, Coin Khakhra.

Job Summary

Saras Che Snacks offers internship opportunities for students to work directly with founders. Interns will gain hands-on experience and take ownership of significant outcomes within the company, contributing to social media presence and sales expansion.

Responsibilities

Social Media Intern

• Own the content calendar: Create and manage end-to-end content including shooting, editing, writing, and posting.
• Generate authentic content: Use real operating footage like factory visits and packing to create engaging posts.
• Grow and manage Instagram: Start from scratch and track engagement metrics to analyze what drives growth.
• Participate actively in business operations: Gain insights into margins, stores, and customer interactions.

Sales Intern

• Expand retail footprint: Engage with Gujarati and Marwari sweet shops and farsan stores in Bengaluru.
• Market engagement: Walk the market alongside founders, pitch products, sample, negotiate, and close sales.
• Manage accounts: Oversee reorders, product assortment, and shelf positioning after the initial sale.
• Learn through experience: Understand trade margins, consignment details, and route planning through practical involvement.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: Open to all Christ University students irrespective of their discipline, branch, or CGPA.
• Availability: Candidates should be able to commute to the office on Bannerghatta Road and be present 4-5 days a week.
• Skills for Sales Interns: Comfortable with fieldwork and possess conversational skills in at least one of Hindi, Kannada, or Gujarati.
• Skills for Social Media Interns: Applicants must submit work samples that demonstrate their creative skills, such as Instagram handles, reels, edits, or photographs.

Preferred Skills

• Sales Intern: Previous experience in retail or sales can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
• Social Media Intern: Creativity, a strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to produce engaging content are preferred.

Experience

0-1 years relevant experience is preferred, but freshers who can demonstrate initiative and creativity are encouraged to apply.

Environment

• Location: WeWork, Bannerghatta Road (Arekere Lake), Bengaluru.
• Work Setting: Interns will work in an in-office environment, collaborating closely with the founding team.
• Duration: Internship lasts for 3 months, with potential for extension.

Salary

• Social Media Intern: ₹5,000 per month.
• Sales Intern: ₹5,000 per month plus commission on sales closed.
