Lead Presales Executive

Job Summary

The Lead Presales Executive role is designed for a seasoned technical expert who will be instrumental in crafting winning AWS-centric solutions. This role involves developing technical proposals, presentations, and statements of work (SOWs) that align with customer outcomes, industry best practices, and innovative technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients and the sales team to ensure that the company's cloud-based offerings meet the highest technical standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Architect Solutions: Design and architect AWS-centric solutions incorporating IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities based on industry standards and emerging innovative technologies.
  • Technical Presentations & Proposals: Prepare compelling technical and commercial presentations, SOWs, and proposals in response to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Client Engagement: Understand client business goals and align technical solutions with their end-to-end architectural frameworks, including requirement gathering and whiteboard sessions.
  • Analyze and Optimize Architectures: Identify and address architectural pain points, providing cost-effective solutions that leverage a variety of tools and technology stacks.
  • Support Sales Team: Collaborate with the entire sales team to drive technical excellence and consistently meet business performance targets.
  • Hands-On Technical Expertise: Utilize extensive expertise in AWS Micro Services, Containerization, Kubernetes, Serverless Architecture, Migration & DevOps to support mission-critical systems and projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 4-6 years in technical pre-sales and solutions, with a focus on AWS cloud management services.
    • 3+ years in infrastructure architecture managed services.
    • 3+ years of working experience in a presales role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in designing AWS-centric solutions and expertise in AWS micro services, containerization, Kubernetes services, serverless architecture, migration, and DevOps.
    • Familiarity with cloud transformation/optimization and migration projects for enterprise clients.
    • Experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, DSC, Puppet, Chef, Salt).
    • Hands-on experience in building and supporting mission-critical technology components that include disaster recovery and backup capabilities.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent presentation and articulation skills, with a strong stage presence.
    • Creative and analytical thinker with a results-oriented approach and the ability to manage client interactions effectively.
  • Educational Background:
    • A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.Tech, B.Sc., or related field).

Preferred Skills

  • Practical experience in multi-tier systems and service design and development for large enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps concepts and the ability to design release pipelines leveraging AWS native services along with open source/SaaS tools.
  • Proven ability to learn rapidly and adapt to new technologies and innovative ideas.
  • Additional certifications in AWS cloud technologies will be an advantage.

Experience

  • A proven track record of 4-6 years in technical pre-sales and AWS-based solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling infrastructure architecture managed services and working directly within presales environments.

Environment

  • Work Locations: Based in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Bandra.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, whiteboard sessions, and workshops.
  • Setting: A dynamic work environment that incorporates both client-based and internal team collaboration, with the possibility of remote and in-office engagements.
