<div>Job Summary: The Operations Manager - Dispatch and Logistics is responsible for<br />
overseeing the dispatch and logistics functions within the company. This role ensures<br />
efficient and timely delivery of products, optimal utilization of resources, and coordination<br />
between various departments to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a<br />
strong background in logistics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and<br />
motivate a team.<br />
Key Responsibilities:<br />
1. Logistics Management:<br />
o Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient transportation<br />
of goods.<br />
o Oversee the planning and execution of inbound and outbound logistics<br />
operations.<br />
o Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to streamline the<br />
supply chain.<br />
o Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for<br />
improvement.</div>
<div>2. Dispatch Operations:<br />
o Supervise and manage the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate<br />
delivery of products.<br />
o Develop dispatch schedules and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and<br />
reduce costs.<br />
o Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during<br />
the dispatch process.<br />
o Handle escalations and resolve issues related to dispatch and delivery.</div>
<div>3. Team Leadership:<br />
o Lead, train, and motivate a team of logistics and dispatch professionals.<br />
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team<br />
members.<br />
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.<br />
o Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and<br />
knowledge.</div>
<div>4. Resource Management:<br />
o Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, inspections, and<br />
compliance with regulations.</div>
<div>o Optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and<br />
technology.<br />
o Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.</div>
<div>5. Customer Service:<br />
o Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries<br />
and resolve delivery issues.<br />
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order<br />
fulfillment.<br />
o Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.</div>
<div>6. Process Improvement:<br />
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational<br />
efficiency and effectiveness.<br />
o Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous<br />
improvement.<br />
o Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive<br />
advantage.</div>
<div>7. Reporting and Documentation:<br />
o Prepare and present regular reports on logistics and dispatch performance to<br />
senior management.<br />
o Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, inventory levels, and<br />
transportation costs.<br />
o Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company reporting requirements.</div>
