Job Summary

The Salesforce CPQ Developer is responsible for developing and implementing solutions using Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and ensuring that the pricing engine and data model functions correctly to meet business needs. This role contributes significantly to the organization's revenue generation capabilities by improving the efficiency of the quoting process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring seamless integration with external systems (ERP, billing, etc.).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that optimize the CPQ process.
• Utilize Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Visualforce to implement high-quality, scalable applications.
• Use Salesforce declarative tools like Process Builder, Flows, and Validation Rules to automate business processes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Manage version control and CI/CD processes using tools like Git, Gearset, or Copado.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in Salesforce development; 2+ years specifically in Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Visualforce.
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce CPQ data model and pricing engine.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flows, Validation Rules).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with external systems (ERP and billing).
• Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Gearset, Copado).
