AEM Admin & DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
The AEM Admin & DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments while implementing and supporting DevOps practices within the organization. This role combines system administration, automation, and DevOps responsibilities to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and high availability of web applications. Candidates will contribute significantly to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, system reliability, and collaborative problem-solving with development and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying AEM and related web applications.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for AEM and infrastructure-related problems.
- Automate routine tasks and system processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline releases and improve deployment processes.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and security within the AEM ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AEM administration and/or DevOps engineering.
- Strong understanding of AEM architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy, etc.).
- Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hosting and managing AEM environments.
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.).
- AEM certification or relevant Adobe certifications.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AEM administration, DevOps, or similar roles.
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments, preferably in digital marketing or web development domains.
Environment
- Work Location: Noida, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune (On-site or as per project requirement).
- Type: Contractual engagement.
- Fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Expected start within 15 days from offer acceptance.
Salary
- Estimated salary range: ₹18 LPA (Exact upper limit not specified; compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience).
