Manager Development

Job Summary

The Manager Development is responsible for leading a team of staff employees, ensuring their performance aligns with organizational goals. This role involves defining a vision for the team, optimizing operational efficiency, and addressing complex challenges within the department. The Manager will work autonomously while receiving guidance from the Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of staff employees, setting performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and recommending pay actions.
• Define and share the technical/functional team roadmap and vision in alignment with department and company objectives.
• Report on team activities and be accountable for the performance and results of the unit.
• Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
• Suggest alternatives, improvements, and new techniques in processes, operational models, and plans.
• Ensure timely management of production support issues and customer inquiries, collaborating with other teams to enhance software systems.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and Python is mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to ensure timely updates to team members regarding company information.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within software development or a related field.
• Business Acumen: Ability to define and implement strategies that align with business objectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with software architecture and quality assurance processes.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development and team management.
