Job Summary
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and leading the product strategy for AI-driven user interactions, with a focus on integrating advanced capabilities within an evolving technological landscape. You will leverage large language models (LLMs) to advance generative AI technologies, partnering with cross-functional teams to guide products through their entire lifecycle. Your role bridges the technical and business domains, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality AI-powered solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of UX/UI and Business Analysts, setting clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development plans.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and track team performance to ensure organizational goals are met within specified timelines.
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Google Operations user quality ranking systems.
- Establish product requirements and author comprehensive specifications, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of features and solutions.
- Conceptualize and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with business and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Optimize the activation funnel by leveraging data and user research to eliminate friction and accelerate time-to-value.
- Enhance new user experience by discovering and promoting core, differentiated features.
- Analyze key performance metrics and utilize data-driven insights to evaluate product health and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Define key metrics for measuring ranking quality, relevance, and user impact.
- Design and implement test strategies and experiments to evaluate changes and support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience working on technical products or project management.
- 2+ years of experience in product management, taking technical products from conception to launch (0 to 1).
- 2+ years of experience in consumer growth and delivering artificial intelligence (AI) products.
- 1+ year of product experience with AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills for preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of people management experience with direct reports.
- Proven ability to drive product vision, go-to-market strategies, and design discussions.
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) or automated agentic workflows to optimize processes or manage risk.
- Experience designing, managing, and refining evaluation methods and success metrics for AI models and AI-powered products.
- Ability to translate performance insights into impactful product enhancements.
- Deep understanding of user perspectives for AI products, with experience identifying pain points and translating user insights into refined AI experiences.
- Ability to predict emerging AI model capabilities and collaborate credibly with technical teams.
Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience in technical product development or project management.
- 2+ years specifically in product management for AI products.
- 1+ year working with large language models (LLMs).
