Job Description

The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand that started in 2013. It is also
India’s largest online merchandising platform with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE,
IPL, and Viacom18. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes,
movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and
fashion trends. Although primarily an online brand, The Souled Store currently has 11 offline
stores in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Gurgaon with plans for expansion pan India.

Team and position summary
As Head of Marketplace, you will be responsible to build and lead a team to set up and grow
various marketplace accounts across all portfolio ventures.
Responsibilities
● Identifying and publishing our products on suitable marketplaces.
● Building and scaling group-wide marketplaces presence with full P&L responsibility.
● Heading the complete external brand portfolio which includes apparel, footwear,
perfumes, etc.
● Analyze opportunities, develop and implement strategies to grow the Marketplace
business through new channels and programs
● Define the drivers of success for these channels, including selection, quality, customer
satisfaction, partner health, traffic, and operational success;
● Establish relationships with key partners for these channels to increase relevant
selection, and add value and convenience for our customers;
● Report and manage the growth of new channels post-launch, achieving growth and
profitability targets, developing effective traffic and online marketing strategies,
scaling up, and reducing costs while increasing efficiency.
● Build out and own commercial planning of all E-commerce business, work closely
with cross-functional teams and external brand e-commerce agencies to unlock both
revenue and profit opportunities
● Research industry trends, seeking opportunities to bridge gaps in business objectives
and push the business forward
● Responsible for the planning and execution of global online store expansion and
business
The Ideal candidate:
● 5+ years of experience in consumer goods retailing and intimate knowledge of online
business-to-consumer (B2C) models.
